Why should my child start a RISE programme?

A RISE programme will compliment your child’s school subjects. RISE programmes are designed to meet the needs and ability of your child and they can work at their own pace. A RISE programme will help to build confidence, inspire learning and boost academic achievement. Furthermore, your child will enjoy using a range of multi-cultural tools and be introduced to black history in a positive and motivational way to build self-esteem and broaden their knowledge.

How much does it cost?

RISE programmes are flexible and affordable and we adapt to meet the needs of your child. Therefore, we do not have a fixed fee because

you will choose a combination of programmes, tuition and resources to help your child.

Helping your child to achieve their potential is as easy as getting off the bus. It cost £1.20 for a bus ride. If you walk short journeys daily for a month instead of getting on the bus you will save enough money for tuition and a resource pack.

Can I use the RISE resource pack on my own with my child?

Yes, you can use the RISE resource packs on your own but a few hours tuition would be beneficial to work successfully with the resources.

How many sessions will my child need to progress?

RISE programmes are arranged on a termly basis. Your child should make progress at the end of each term (approx 10 weeks) in the subject they are studying.

Will my child have to do an assessment?

Each child enrolling on a RISE programme will be given an assessment. A tutor will call you and make an appointment to visit you at home. S/he will speak with you, meet your child and carry out an assessment.
