Flamingos
Flamingos are land birds, they like to wade. They stand on one leg to preserve energy.Flamingo is a place to perfect the skills needed for schools. Your child will get the basics. They will be tutored from beginner to intermediate stage until they have the necessary skills in English, maths and Black History.
They will study one subject per term: for example, English term 1, Maths term 2 and Black History term 3 or in whichever order you choose.. Your child can stay at Flamingo level for as long as they like and be tutored until they master the skills for their level and age or the skills they will need in school.
Flamingos are beautiful creatures, they are large birds that stand on one leg to preserve energy – but they are graceful creatures and you will behold a spectacle when they fly.
Regular homework for Flamingos will get your child into a habit that will help them to excel.
Flamingos are beautiful as they are and your child can stay a Flamingo for as long as they like but as your child master the skills of being a Flamingo they may want to set their sights on becoming a Hummingbird or an Eagle.
Your ONLINE Flamingo pack consists of:
- 1 text book,
- weekly online lessons x10 (or termly)
- individual learning plan with SMART goals,
- initial phone interview/assessment (20 minutes)
- tutor feedback and marking of work
- ongoing access to a tutor via email.
Your MAIL ORDER pack consists of:
- 1 text book
- weekly workbooks x 10 (or termly)
- initial phone interview/assessment (20 minutes)
All RISE programmes require supervision by parents.
