Bring up a child in the way he should go, and when he is grown he will not
depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Parents are often concerned about how well their child is doing - worst still if you have a child who is excluded from school or not getting the right support to reach their full potential.

Parents are the first educators and they must take this role seriously if they want their child to excel. Educating your child and keeping them motivated and interested in learning is not a part time job. It is not a now and then affair - keeping children stimulated is a full time job. You need to have good resources to help you do this,  you need to take them to the right places and organise days out to places of interest.
It is never too early to start reading and you can start by providing books with colourful pictures for your baby to look at. It is never too late to start reading - encourage older children to read with younger siblings. Get them to keep a diary and write stories.
